WHO ARE WE?

We are an interdisciplinary group of service professionals that fosters connection, empowerment, and professional growth in order to improve access to culturally responsive services within the Latinx community.

EL CONSORCIO exists to reduce providers’ barriers to culturally informed continuing education, networking, care coordination, linguistic consultation, identifying and addressing service gaps for Latinx clients, and systems-level advocacy.

Meetings occur monthly.  They alternate between the third Tuesday and the third Friday of the month, from 8:30-10:00 AM.

COMMUNITY

El Consorcio currently has members from a variety of mental health and social service agencies, schools, hospitals, medical clinics, county human service teams, and private therapy practices in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, and Dakota counties.

EDUCATION

Certificates of Attendance are provided for meetings with speakers and panelists, and minutes are available on the “Resources & Meeting Minutes” tab for folks who are not able to attend.

RESOURCES

El Consorcio provides members with valuable therapy services. Our Spanish Clinical Language and Resource Guide outlines a comprehensive list of Spanish-language mental health, social service, and other frequently accessed resources, as well as interpretations of commonly used vocabulary.

MEETINGS

Meetings occur monthly.  They alternate between the third Tuesday and the third Friday of the month, from 8:30-10:00 AM.
